Job description
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Manager to support the Affordable Home Loans business. The role is primarily focused on property document vetting, title clearance, and ensuring end-to-end legal compliance during the loan processing cycle. This is not a litigation role, and the focus is on transactional legal support for secured lending.

Minimum 2 years of experience in legal roles within HFCs, NBFCs, or Banks, specifically in home loan documentation.
Strong understanding of property documentation, title clearance norms, and local legal procedures.
Prior experience in affordable housing segment preferred.
Ability to manage multiple cases with accuracy and within TAT.
Good communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities :

Vetting and verification of property documents for residential home loans.

Ensure clear and marketable title before loan sanction and disbursal.

Draft and review legal reports, title search summaries, and required declarations.

Assess legal risks associated with properties and identify document deficiencies.

Coordinate with empaneled advocates for legal reports and clarifications.

Guide the sales and credit teams on documentation requirements.

Maintain repository of local legal requirements related to property and home finance.
