Job description

The Assets Disposal Manager is responsible for driving the complete disposal process of repossessed immovable assets under the SARFAESI Act, 2002. The role involves identifying interested buyers, conducting e-auctions, ensuring full compliance with legal procedures, and coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and government bodies. The position demands active field visits, strong property market knowledge, and effective stakeholder management to ensure timely and transparent sale of repossessed properties.

  • Pay Details : Up to Rs. 10 LOA
  • Must Have :
    • Sound knowledge of SARFAESI Act sale procedures.

    • Strong understanding of local property sale and registration processes.

    • Ability to travel extensively across regional locations.

    • Prior experience in handling repossessed/distressed property assets.

    • Good negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.

    • Ability to work with legal, sales, and operational teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and engage prospective buyers for repossessed properties.

  • Manage end-to-end asset disposal and e-auction processes.

  • Ensure timely receipt of sale proceeds and issuance/registration of Sale Certificates.

  • Support litigation team during physical possession of properties.

  • Market and advertise repossessed assets across relevant channels.

  • Build and maintain a strong database of buyers, brokers, property dealers, and investors.

  • Monitor, protect, repair, and maintain unsold properties; deploy security when required.

  • Coordinate with government/local bodies (Housing Society, MSEB, Municipal Corporation, etc.).

  • Conduct periodic site visits across all regional property locations.

  • Empanel and manage vendors/property dealers as needed.
