We are hiring an Area Sales Manager for Mumbai location with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, SME Lending, or Working Capital Finance. The role demands strong expertise in channel development, DSA sourcing, and team management within a fintech or NBFC ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales, AUM, and P&L targets, building a robust partner network, and maintaining portfolio quality.

  • Pay Details : Up to 10LPA
  • Must Have :
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, SME Lending, or Working Capital Finance

    • Educational qualification: CA or MBA in Finance (or equivalent)

    • Strong product knowledge in Working Capital and Trade Finance

    • Experience in setting up and managing channel partner networks and DSAs

    • Proven ability to achieve Balance Sheet and P&L targets, including AUM and Fee Income

    • Prior experience in team hiring, retention, and managing performance metrics

    • Familiarity with performance tracking tools, reporting systems, and sales MIS

    • Exposure to fintech-led lending environments

    • Ability to ensure portfolio quality and adherence to credit policy

    • Stable employment history with no unexplained career gaps

    • High standards of integrity and ability to enforce discipline within teams

Key Responsibilities :

✔ Framing Sales Strategies to achieve the budgeted numbers in customer acquisition
✔ Setting up of distribution network and building a demand funnel in line with organization strategy, including —- Preparation and implementation of Channel Development. Implement robust due diligence mechanism for back ground verification of channel partners before empanelment.
✔ Engagement with established/ potential channel partners to negotiate terms of engagement and regular monitoring/ control to ensure regular flow of business
✔ Responsible to achieve the budgeted Balance Sheet and P&L numbers including AUM, Fee Income and Cross Sell Revenue with due control over cost to income ratio
✔ Timely hiring, enabling team retention, team building and motivation plans for managing attrition at or lower than planned levels
✔ Monitor performance of teams, set up trackers, sales reports etc. and ensure desired level of productivity
✔ Ensuring highest level of discipline and integrity within teams
